Care And Maintenance

We Believe As All Motorcycle Enthusiasts Generally Take Very Good Care Of Their Bikes As Well As The Seats. The Basics Of Motorcycle Maintenance Include The Condition Of "Wet Seats" , "Washing, Waxing & Treating Seats"， "Cuts, Scratches Or Scuff Marks".

WET SEATS
Motorcycle seats and backrests will get wet due to rain or washing the bike. Our C.C.RIDER seats will not be damaged in any way by getting wet--or even staying wet a week.
It would have to be a molded plastic cover to be waterproof, like some OEM seats.Any seat that has an upholstered cover with stitched seams could not be totally impermeable to water. Water will tend to leak through the stitching, it takes a while to dry out. C.C.RIDER seats mix the chemicals to make the foam for every seat, so the foam will not be damaged if it gets wet in a rainstorm. It will return to its original resilience after drying out.

Washing, Waxing & Treating Seats
C.C.RIDER seats are made of the highest quality vinyl and will retain their looks for years without any extra care. C.C.RIDER seats can be washed with any mild, non-abrasive detergent. Simply spray, wipe, and polish dry for a beautiful, durable, lasting shine.

Cuts, Scratches or Scuff Marks
If your seat has been scratched or scuffed, try gently applying a small dab of black paste shoe polish on the affected area. Allow it to dry completely, then buff out with a clean soft cloth.

I wanted to give it some time before I reviewed to be fair. For my last bike I purchased a custom seat, made in Hollister, for over $1300.00. For years I'd heard it was one of the best seats made. I was so disappointed with the quality and comfort and customer service. The leather started cracking in two years. When shopping for this bike I ran across CC Rider and went with one of the cheapest seats they made. I figured if it was junk it wouldn't be too much of a loss. This is a GREAT seat, more comfortable then the custom one on my last bike and the stock HD. Looks great and the quality is solid so far. it may not be leather but my butt can't tell. And if it does come apart in a few years, so what, I'll buy another one, I could buy seven for the price I paid for my last seat. Won't hesitate to purchase from CC Rider in the future.

I am actually very pleased with this seat. I was looking for a new look for my Ultra Classic. I had just purchased a quick disconnect system for my trunk, and wanted to improve the look even more with a lower profile seat. I had been looking at the two-piece seats, but did not want to spend the money for a look and feel that I wasn't sure would work. With the CC Rider prices, I figured even if I didn't like the look/feel, I wouldn't be out much cash. When I recieved the seat, I was impressed by how good it looked out of the box. I was expecting a cheap look with loose or crooked stitching, but to my surprise the quality was great. When I got the seat installed, I was even more impressed. The solo low profile seat really made my big touring bike look sleek and sporty. Adding the two-up pillion didn't take away from the sporty look and gave me the option to take the wife along. My wife on the rear pillion was not very thrilled with the comfort level, but short cruises around town were fine. She is also spoiled with the big sofa-like touring seat that is normally installed for our long trips. But the solo seat for me was surprisingly comfortable. I have not had an opportunity to put on 100s of miles in a single ride yet, but I've done several 50+ mile rides on the CC Rider seat, and am very pleased with the comfort. I also like the low profile seat because if gets me a little lower on the bike, and a little further back to let me stretch out. Very pleased with this seat and will certainly be checking back with CC Roder for my next seat purchase.

This seat is so much more comfortable than the OEM Harley seat and also adds a lot of lower back support for me. My wife commented that she likes the pillion pad. According to her it is very comfortable for long rides as her butt dosen't numb out after a hundred miles or so. I would highly recommend this seat.

I love the seat it look great the red stitch sets it off. They are a little bit difficult to take off and on. The gel seat is very firm at first and takes time to break in it getting better but I weigh a buck fifty. I get compliments all the time and they’re well constructed.

I waited to give my review until I've had over 1,000 miles on the seat.. At first it was definitely a firm saddle, after 600ish miles it softened up a bit and started to form to my cheeks.. for what I thought would be a short distance only seat has turned a lot more comfortable than expected.. the quality is great and fit is ok. (The back seat didn't fit properly but it works) all in all the seat is a great buy!.

And to top it off, customer service was outstanding. My seat came without the mounting hardware, probably fell out of the box (shipping these days, ugh).
